How to check that an ISO certificate is genuine
Unaccredited "ISO certificates" are common. Before you choose a certification body, check that it is accredited by NABCB (India) or another IAF member accreditation body, and that your certificate can be verified online. DGC only works with properly accredited certification bodies.
Which ISO standard do you need?
- ISO 9001: quality management. This is the most requested standard and is often needed for tenders and exports.
- ISO 14001: environmental management, for manufacturers and companies in global supply chains.
- ISO 45001: occupational health and safety, for factories, construction and logistics.
- ISO/IEC 27001: information security, for IT, BPO and data-handling companies.
- ISO 22000 / ISO 13485: food safety and medical devices respectively.
